On the other hand, there are hidden facts that we cannot encompass within the scope of our senses. For example, if we observe something through a microscope or telescope, its existence is still considered “apparent” for us. All these entities fall under the realm of the “apparent” testimony for us. For humans, some things fall under the category of “shahadah” that we can perceive through our senses. Clearly, everything is a witness for Allah, as nothing is hidden from Him. It is essential to understand that in the Quran, the terms of “ghaib” (unseen) and “shahadah (seen) are for human comprehension. Allah knows everything, whether it is apparent to us or hidden. The above mentioned verse of Surah Al-Hashr is the entire composition is based on one of the names of Allah. He is the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. ■ “He is Allah-there is no god ‘worthy of worship’ except Him: Knower of the seen and unseen. It’s interesting how the structure of the word “Allah” reflects the unique nature of the concept, and it cannot be pluralized like the English word “Gods.”
